The ALTER WORLD first emerges in 1997, so it's been like almost 13 years from now, which makes it impossible to clarify the details. The good news is, I don't have to, neither do I want to because the pre-New Age era was childish (well, for the most part.).

That's why I will just post the pre New Age era as a background info, and here we go:

1. Creation (1997-1999 or so)

The rise of the Flaming Island, adventure, war, sci-fi development.

2. An Alternative Dimension (1999-2000 or so)

The fall of Burning Cloak Clan and the rise of Brotherhood, adventure, martial arts, Japanese comic style development.

3. Apocalypse (2000-2004 or so)

The first Leading Character's adventure in the Upper Deity's Domin and his apprentices' adventures in the Common World. Japanese comic style development mixed with western fantasy-adventure novel style.

4. Chaos  (2004-2006)

The Wars in three different worlds--1. between Upper Deities, 2. the State of Flaming Island and High Deities VS Interdimensional Alien forces, 3. the Brotherhood VS the Shadow Legion.

Wars, sci-fi, western epic fantasy novel style.  

5. New Age (2006-)

Post-catastrophic world adventure, western fantasy adventure story mixed with a bit of sci-fi.

Basically these are the 5 stages of the whole story, and I am going to start with No.5.
